Reflection on Web 2.0 Project

At the Begging I would like to mention that In my all life I don’t like It because I am accounting Student but I pushed myself to learn it Because HH sheikh Mohd Bin Rashid Encourage us to use technology in our work .So this course teach me a lot and really I have done new thing that I never done it before.

MIS course is one of the amazing courses that I ever studied because I’m so interested on IT stuff and having enough basic IT knowledge that helps me in understanding this course.

The following are the Web 2.0 tools that I learned during this course and brief reflection on these tools. I organized them from my most favorite to least favorite tool

Blog

It is one of my most favorite tools because it allows me to share my thoughts and interests with other. I like following my friends, this allow me to know my friend better. I see the blog as the best tool because to me, it is a new way of sharing ideas and experiences. Also, it is customizing and personalizing the blog by using different gadgets.

Gmail

I am using my Gmail account often for college projects and assignments, because Gmail massage can attach very big files in size and I also organize my inbox by using labels and filters in a way that I can read my emails easily.

Face book

In the begging I do not like Facebook, because I think it is very difficult to use to compare with Twitter. But I use Facebook to read news feed from my friends, chat with my friends whenever I see them online in the Facebook Chat..

Picasa

I use it to edit the pictures of my families and friends. Moreover, I use it to edit the pictures that will be included in my or my brother’s projects. All of these things are done in a very easy way with a high quality result and that what’s makes me choose one of the first preferable tools.

Google Chrome:

Is a browser where you have the opportunity to customize your browser by adding your favorite themes. Moreover, I like the option called “Chrome Web Store” a lot because it enables me to add different things to my chrome like Business tools, Games, Lifestyle, News and weather besides other things. As a result, I make Google chrome my default or main browser instead of the Internet Explorer and I always use it for research purposes to complete my projects.

Google Docs:

Google Docs caught my attention only from reading the description about it. I chose it and trained my classmates on how to use it. I liked it the most because of it major usefulness to me as a student. To me it was so easy for me to work from one page ,I used to straggle hoping that I edited the right paper since all the e-mail’s title is final draft Also Google Docs allow the users to create documents, presentations, spreadsheets and more and share it with other people. Now as a group we can create a document for example and work on a report together without being physically together.

Twitter

To me is BlackBerry where people send advancing massages, funny massage, and some of them telling about a lecture, some of them use to tell about their new collection of products. I don’t like social website. However, after the training session about Twitter, I become an addicted user and I install it in my smart phone and i-
pad

Google Earth

I like to use this tool to view places I would like to visit. Also, this tool will allow me to view maps and directions of some places that I don’t like to use them. I used Google earth to view locations and building. It is an easy tool to use where you write the name of the place in the search bar and after seconds it will appear for you


Google Site

It is an easy tool where it enabled me to create a site. I had learn new things that I never learn it before specially in  It , Also it is a very useful and easy way to create an online website, even if you are not an excellent in using website programs software. In the future, if I need to create a website for my job

Google Search

Google search is an important tool that I like to use every day. Google helps me to find out exactly what I am looking for through following specific tips. After learning the techniques of Google searching, I applied them in all my research topics to save my time and efforts. I will keep using Google searching tool in my life and I will teach my kids to use such great tool

Google Calendar

I like Google calendar because it is enables me to organize my appointments in work manage my time and share my calendars with others. The feature is amazing provided by this tool which enables me to create multiple. I think that it if I was taught to put what I like first I will be more willing to accept it
